Last post!

Well my time here is coming to a close! We have been taking it pretty easy the past few days or so and will continue to do so until we leave. We are still responsible for the ministries that go on here, like the church services, Friday’s breakfast downtown, and Tuesday’s Kids for Christ Club, but other than that, we are just doing some work around the house and spending time with all our friends that we’ve made here. We had a thank you dinner for the man that keeps up the house and does all the work around here, Patro, and Alfredo’s family, he’s been the one to drive us everywhere. They came over here on Monday night and we cooked them spaghetti and garlic bread. Then we watched the movie, Up, and ate popcorn and candy. It was a lot of fun. These people mean so much to us and we are going to miss them terribly. The two boys, Bani and Gerson (pronounced like Harrison), have been our little brothers. They are so much fun to hang out with and I don’t know what we’re going to do when we don’t have those two pestering us all the time!
All we have left to do is the breakfast tomorrow morning and Sunday’s church service. We are really sad about every ministry being our last time before we leave. It’s crazy how when we got here 8 weeks seemed like forever. Now that I look back on it, it does seem like a long time since we’re been home, but then again it’s so hard to believe that we are going home in just a few days! We have really enjoyed our time here but are also pretty excited to be getting to go home to our friends and family. I want to thank all of you who contributed to this trip, through financial donations, prayers, letters, emails, and thoughts. I really appreciate all of your support and I wouldn’t have been here without it! I miss you all so much and I can’t wait to see you all very soon!
